Finish Care Instructions
Susan Dunn Signature Finishes are individually hand-applied and crafted to provide exceptional beauty and lasting performance. With proper care, they will retain their character for years to come.
Daily Care
Clean surfaces gently using a soft, damp cloth and a pH-neutral liquid soap mixed with water.
Rinse & Dry
Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry immediately to remove any remaining moisture or overspray.
Avoid Abrasives
Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, steel wool, or stiff brushes, as these may permanently damage the finish.
Recommended Cleaning Solution
For routine cleaning, we recommend a solution of one teaspoon of pH-neutral dishwashing detergent mixed with one gallon of warm water. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire surface.
Protect the Finish
Avoid prolonged contact with acidic or harsh household products, including vinegar, antibacterial soaps, bleach, disinfectants, and similar cleaning agents, as they may alter or damage the finish.
Important Notice
Disinfectants, including bleach-based products and products such as Lysol®, may permanently affect the appearance of decorative finishes and should not be used.
